POUND in the PARK! with Mid City Rebels

POUND® classes are full of fun, sweat, and burn! Using Ripstix®, lightly weighted drumsticks engineered specifically for exercising, POUND® transforms drumming into an incredibly effective way of working out. Instead of listening to music, you become the music in this exhilarating full-body workout that combines cardio, conditioning, and strength training with yoga and pilates-inspired movements.

Here are the details:

Location: TBD - A park in Baton Rouge, LA. We are deciding which one - comment if you have a suggestion. The current thinking is Highland Road Park on the sundial.
Time: 4:00 pm - 4:45 pm

What you need to bring (besides your smiling face):
1. WATER! This is a full body cardio class, and we will be outside - so don't skimp on the water!
2. A yoga/exercise mat or towel. This is not necessarily required, so if you don't have a mat don't worry - there are a few songs we get on the ground for (and the ground may be hot) so bring one if you can. I will have mats with me as well.
3. A towel for your face, eyeballs, and wherever else is dripping with sweat. (recommended)

*Due to weather conditions/heat - if it is a particularly sweltering day - we will adjust break time in between tracks and class length. We may possibly adjust the time to later in the day as well.
