Metal Stamping- Charms and bracelets @ Create Studios

The art of metal stamping can be quite expensive to get started in, but at Create Studios you can use our supplies and make some unique pieces. 
During this class, you will earn the art of metal stamping, use metal stamps to hammer designs and customize your own charms and bracelets! 
You will use aluminum blanks and bracelet form and learn to use copper tubing to make a copper bracelet. 
All tools and stamps required to make these projects are included for your use.

Fall Candles Workshop @ The Journey Lab

Make your own soy based candles, choosing from a variety of fragrances. The Journey Lab will teaching you how to make an 8 ounce candle in an attractive lidded container; then you can choose from other containers that will be provided, or you can bring your own containers to fill. All other materials are provided.

THIS CLASS IS FULL!

Hey everybody! The Journey Lab will be teaching a Resin Painting workshop at their Mid City location. They will provide all materials including a primed wooden panel to paint on, paints and other colorants, resin, and protective wear. They'll walk you through the process of creating a beautiful resin painting. You can even bring some acrylic/spray paint/nail polish of your own if you have a color or colors you really love! 

The class will be $90 a person on October 18th from 10 to 1PM. 

A $25 deposit is due at registration through Paypal to ellenanderson21@gmail.com or by check in the mail (pm for my address.) PLEASE ASK ABOUT SPOT AVAILABILITY BEFORE SENDING IN YOUR DEPOSIT.

April Hamilton with April's Kitchen Counter for a mini culinary world tour just for getting teens in the kitchen! April has been teaching kids and teens in the kitchen since her college days when she once made cookies for Emmitt Smith! Chop, Sizzle and Spice your way to kitchen magician, superstar and hero in this fun cooking series designed especially for teens.

 
NOTE: This is a three-day class for teens 13 and over. Students will join April in the kitchen on Tuesday, October 10, Wednesday, October 11 and Thursday, October 12 from 10:30am-12:30pm. The $165 purchase of this class is for ALL THREE DAYS.

Blue Dog Your Dog @ Create Studios

n this fun class, you will be able to paint your own pen in the style of the Blue Dog. Simply submit your pet's picture to Create Studios at least 72 hours prior to the class to have it immortalized on canvas in a style very similar to the Blue Dog. Each canvas is hand drawn and unique.

Pop Art Your Pet- Pop @ Create Studios

 

Come make Pop-Art with Create Studios

Pop art employs aspects of mass culture, such as advertising, comic books and mundane cultural objects. Andy Warhol is probably the most famous figure in Pop Art


The painting will consist of 4 panes with bright pop art colors or earthtones. 

Send us an image of your pet ASAP and no later than 72 hours prior to the class for your own pop art outline of your own pet to complete in class. 

Class is one- 4 hour class. 

You may paint the same image 4 times (1 photo 4 each), two images twice (2 photos 2 each) or four different images (4 photos 1 each). 

P..S. I guess you can paint humans if you have no pets. :)
